Reports have been fragmented and its taken some time to coordinate and, as far as we can, verify the accounts. While some are unsubstantiated, as you can see from the enclosed, Borg influence is decidedly spreading outward from the Sol system.

It is now believed that Arcturus will soon be invaded; there have been sightings of a sphere heading in their direction. The Arcturans have requested our help and toward that end, a task force under the command of Admiral Arthur Gamelin, consisting of the remnants of the second fleet is forming. I am sending you the coordinates and you are hereby ordered to join them.

Admiral Gamelin believes that we may be more effective against the sphere than the eight ships in Sol System were against the cube. The fleet, composted of twenty starships, were certainly have a vastly greater combined firepower.
