| Personal History | Diana also known "Di was born in Connecticut on Earth into a medical family. Both her parents Justin and Maria were both well-known surgeons throughout the Federation. It was no wonder she and her brother chose to join the medical field. While her older brother Immanuel went off to become a Doctor, Di chose to join Starfleet and pursue a career in Counseling, due for her love of space travel and having an extreme interest in working with the mind. After graduating from the Academy, Diana was assigned to Starfleet Medical where she furthered her education. After her time there, Diana was reassigned to the USS Ohio. During this time, she began a relationship with Tony Johnson. The two were together for quite sometime, until Tony accepted an assignment to another ship. This caused the relationship to come to an end. A few years later Diana found herself reassigned to the USS Sunrider an Olympic class medical ship. This assignment consisted of her dealing with multiple personnel dealing with quite a bit of trauma from being on the frontlines of the Cardassian War. This also allowed her to work with the Bajoran people on occasion who were still fighting from their occupation with the Cardassians. In 2367, the USS Sunrider was its way to provide medical support near the Cardassian border when they received a change in orders due to the Borg attacking the Sol System. Like so many others, Diana has parents and a brother living on Earth who she has had no contact with since the attack. |
